Brian Evans, MD is an interventional/endovascular radiologist with years of experience in endovascular and oncological intervention. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Dr. Evans received his medical degree from George Washington University in Washington DC. He returned to Arizona to complete his radiology residence in 2007. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Evans completed an interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Washington, Seattle WA.
“ I chose Interventional Radiology as my fellowship because I appreciate how we can treat a multitude of patient conditions saving them the discomfort and down time of surgery. It’s enormously rewarding to share this experience with my patients”
In addition to his busy practice, he is serves part of the investigative board on two emerging interventional technologies. Dr Evans maintains professional affiliation with both the American Radiology and the Society of Interventional Radiology.
“I look forward being part of the physician community in Reno and surrounding areas. So often, interventional radiology gets lost in the basement of a hospital where referring physicians haven’t access to the team or the latest endovascular consultation for conditions once thought to require surgery. We are available to consult and treat patients within our four walls. The experience and recovery is better for the patient and easily accessible to physicians.”
In addition, Dr Evans holds a distinguished service career as a Navy physician where he served as Undersea and Dive Medical Officer and the physician for Special Warfare units. During his service, Dr. Evans received numerous service and skills awards.
Aside his medical practice, Dr Evans and his wife have two young children. They enjoy spending time outdoors whether it be the mountain or beach activities.
